Revision of Dearness Allowance Rates for Central Government Employees under 6th CPC — 22 Apr 2026

The Ministry of Finance has issued an order to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) for employees continuing to draw pay under the 6th Central Pay Commission. The DA rate has been enhanced from 257% to 262% of the Basic Pay. This revision is effective from January 1, 2026. All Ministries and Departments under the administrative control of the Central Government are required to implement these provisions.
