Revision of Dearness Allowance Rates for Employees under 6th Central Pay Commission

The Department of Expenditure has issued an Office Memorandum regarding the revision of Dearness Allowance (DA) rates for Central Government employees still drawing pay in the 6th Central Pay Commission scale. The DA rate has been enhanced from 252% to 257% effective from July 1, 2025. All Ministries and Departments are instructed to bring these orders to the notice of organizations under their administrative control. Existing provisions from the 2008 Office Memorandum remain applicable for regulation.
