This document presents a statistical comparison of cancer incidence rates between two distinct areas in Bhopal from 1988 to 2007. It analyzes modified crude rates (CR-M) and age-adjusted rates (AAR-M) for various anatomical sites in both males and females. The study specifically examines the correlation between tobacco usage habits and the incidence of tobacco-related cancers (TRCs). Findings indicate that higher incidence rates in certain areas are largely attributable to differences in tobacco consumption patterns rather than other exposure factors.
