The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has integrated the CGHS portal with the Bhavishya portal to streamline the application process for CGHS Pensioner Cards. This digital integration allows for the automatic pre-filling of application details using pension data and enables online payment via the BharatKosh gateway. Retiring employees can now generate and download their CGHS cards through either the CGHS or Bhavishya portals. This initiative aims to reduce procedural delays and eliminate manual data entry for pensioners. The existing application process remains operational as an alternative mode.
