Most Important Details
Subsidy is 50% of actual cost, capped at Rs. 60,000 for General and Rs. 80,000 for SC/ST categories. Grant is available once every four years per family household for vessels between 26 and 38 feet in length.
eligibility
Must possess valid vessel registration under Merchant Shipping Act 1958, valid fishing and net licenses, and not be a defaulter. Applicant or family must not own a trawler or purse-seine vessel. SC/ST applicants need a valid caste certificate.
