• The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has issued an office memorandum regarding the revision of Dearness Allowance (DA) for Central Government employees.
• The DA rate has been enhanced from 60% to 63% of the Basic Pay, effective from 1st July 2026.
• This follows the Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure order dated 29th October 2026, applicable to all CSIR Labs, Institutes, and Units.
