Amendment in Delegation of Financial Power Rules 2024 Regarding Primary Units of Appropriation

The Ministry of Finance has issued an amendment to the Delegation of Financial Power Rules (DFPRs) 2024 concerning the Primary Units of Appropriation (Standard Object Heads). This revision aims to harmonize the Object Head structure across both Union and State Governments. The updated list of Object Heads is provided in the annexure of the circular. These amendments are scheduled to come into effect starting from the Financial Year 2027–28.
