• ESIC has issued revised guidelines for the constitution and functioning of Medical Boards under the Code on Social Security, 2020.
• Fixed Medical Boards are to be held monthly, preferably on the first Tuesday.
• Rotational Peripatetic Medical Boards will be convened based on case pendency.
• Special Medical Boards for occupational diseases continue at designated centres.
• Effective immediately for all ESIC/ESIS units.
