The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued clarifications regarding the revised ceiling rates for hearing aids notified on 09.09.2026:
• The revised rates are effective from 09.09.2026.
• Existing valid permissions issued before this date remain valid.
• Beneficiaries with unexpired permissions can procure devices on or after 09.09.2026 and claim reimbursement at the new ceiling of ₹30,000 per ear.
