This circular provides clarifications regarding the city-class and tier mapping for CGHS treatment rates. It specifies that certain locations like Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Noida, and Gurugram are to be treated at par with Delhi (Tier 1). Other locations, including Jalandhar Cantt, Goa, Port Blair, Panchkula, and S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali), are mapped to specific Tier 2 city rates. This modification aligns CGHS rate applicability with Ministry of Finance HRA continuation orders. All other provisions of the previous O.M. dated 03.10.2025 remain unchanged.
