• The National Statistics Office (NSO) has released the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) Monthly Bulletin for September 2026.
• Overall Labour Force Participation Rate (LFPR) for persons aged 15+ stood at 55.5%.
• Urban LFPR increased to 50.7%.
• Overall Unemployment Rate (UR) remained stable at 5.0%.
• Urban female LFPR reached its highest level since October 2025, rising to 25.9% during the month.
• Overall Labour Force Participation Rate (LFPR) for persons aged 15+ stood at 55.5%.
• Urban LFPR increased to 50.7%.
• Overall Unemployment Rate (UR) remained stable at 5.0%.
