The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of the central deputation tenure of Ms. T Mithra, IAS (KL:2009), for a period of one year beyond 19.11.2026. She will continue to serve as the Director of Census Operations and Director of Citizen Registration, Kerala, under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The post will continue to be upgraded to the level of Joint Secretary for this period. This decision follows the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
