The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Vijay Namdeorao Zade, IAS (PB: 2002) as Finance Secretary for the UT administration of Chandigarh. The appointment is on inter-cadre deputation from the Punjab cadre to the AGMUT cadre. The tenure is for a period of three years from the date of joining or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The mandatory cooling-off period requirement has been waived for this appointment.
