The Department of Personnel and Training has declared Wednesday, 14th April 2021, as a public holiday for all Central Government offices and industrial establishments. This holiday is in observance of the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The decision was made under the powers conferred by Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. All Ministries and Departments are instructed to bring this decision to the notice of all concerned.
