The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the continuation of a temporary upgraded post of DS/Director to Joint Secretary level for the post of combined Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) for Military Engineer Services (MES) and Border Roads Organization (BRO). This extension is granted for one year beyond 14.10.2021, up to 14.10.2022. Additionally, the deputation tenure of Shri Naveen Kumar Jain, IRS(C&CE:92), as CVO for MES and BRO has been extended for the same period. The order is issued by the Department of Personnel & Training.
