NTA Press Release on Successful Commencement of CUET (UG) 2024 Examination

The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully commenced the CUET (UG) 2024 examination on May 15, 2024, across India and abroad. Over 75% of the 11.4 lakh scheduled candidates appeared for the exam on the first day at 2157 centers. The examination is being conducted in a hybrid mode, with a significant portion in pen and paper format to streamline the process. Due to these measures, the total duration of the examination has been reduced to 8 days compared to 34 days last year. Candidates were allotted centers in their home states to ensure convenience.
