The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has sanctioned a payment of Rs. 64,80,000 to the UP Academy of Administration & Management, Lucknow. These funds are allocated for the training of SPIOs and AAs under the 'Improving Transparency and Accountability in Government through Effective Implementation of RTI Act' programme. The expenditure is to be met from the 2017-18 budget under the 'Propagation of Right to Information Act' head. The academy is required to follow General Financial Rules 2017 and utilize the PFMS EAT module for payments.
