The Department of Personnel & Training has approved the entrustment of the additional charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at the Geological Survey of India (GSI), Kolkata, to Shri Harsimran Singh. Shri Singh, who is currently the CVO of Hindustan Copper Limited, will hold this additional charge for a period of three months or until a regular CVO is appointed, whichever is earlier. This order follows a proposal from the Ministry of Mines.
