The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri C Neelakanta Reddy, IRSSE(1997), as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the National Mineral Development Corporation Ltd. (NMDC), Hyderabad. The appointment is under the Ministry of Steel for an initial period of three years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The officer will be placed at level 14 of the pay matrix. The Ministry of Railways has been requested to relieve the officer immediately to take up this new assignment.
