The Department of Personnel and Training has cancelled the appointment of Shri Gaurav Govil, IRSSE (1996) as Combined CVO in MES and BRO due to his failure to assume charge. Consequently, the officer has been debarred from all kinds of central deputation, including the Central Staffing Scheme, for a period of five years effective from 21.03.2025. He is also debarred from foreign assignments and consultancies abroad during this period. The Ministry of Railways has been informed to notify the officer accordingly.
