The Employees Provident Fund Organisation has authorized Regional Commissioners to assign additional charge of Accounts, Cash, and Pension sections to Accounts Officers. This measure is intended to address the shortage of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioners (APFCs). The additional charge is limited to a maximum period of 45 days. Assignments must not exceed the number of existing vacancies in the APFC/RPFC-II cadre. Seniority and suitability for sensitive posts must be considered during the assignment process.
