The Department of Biotechnology has announced the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2026 for admissions to DBT-supported postgraduate programmes. The national-level entrance examination is scheduled for 17th May 2026 and will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates can apply online from 19th March 2026 until 9th April 2026. The exam consists of two sections covering 10+2 and graduate-level subjects in biotechnology and allied sciences. Qualified candidates are eligible for monthly stipends during their postgraduate studies.
