Press Release on Successful Conduct of UGC-NET June 2024 Examination

The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the UGC-NET June 2024 examination on June 18, 2024, across 1,205 centers in 317 cities. The exam was held in two shifts for 83 subjects, covering awards for Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professor appointments, and Ph.D. admissions. A total of 11,21,225 candidates were registered, with approximately 81% attendance recorded. This year's exam included a new provision for candidates of Four-Year Undergraduate Programmes. The NTA acknowledged the efforts of all officials and staff involved in the smooth execution of the examination.
