The Directorate of Education, GNCT of Delhi, has mandated that all government and government-aided schools conduct fortnightly meetings between parents of Children with Special Needs (CWSN) and Special Education Teachers. These meetings aim to foster inclusive education by discussing child performance, developmental needs, and home-school coordination. Heads of Schools are responsible for scheduling and overseeing these interactions, which must be documented in a parent meeting register. The order aligns with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016. Specific instructions regarding the agenda and reporting requirements are provided in the circular's annexure.
