The Competent Authority has approved the appointment of Ms. Shweta Mishra, IRS (IT:2007) as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Delhi. The appointment is under the Department of Consumer Affairs. She will serve for an initial period of three years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The Department of Revenue has been requested to relieve the officer immediately to take up her new assignment.
