The Department of Personnel & Training has approved the entrustment of the additional charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) to Ms. Simmi R. Nakra. Ms. Nakra, who currently serves as the CVO of Power Finance Corporation, will hold this additional charge for a period of six months or until a regular CVO is appointed. This decision follows the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Power. The appointment is effective from the date of assumption of charge.
