Extension of validity for officer nominations under Central Staffing Scheme 2023

The Department of Personnel & Training has extended the validity of officer nominations for the Central Staffing Scheme 2023. Names of officers forwarded online by Cadre Controlling Authorities will remain available for consideration until July 31, 2024. This memorandum serves as a continuation of previous instructions regarding the appointment of Deputy Secretary, Director, and Joint Secretary level posts. It also applies to the selection process for Chief Vigilance Officers. All relevant ministries and state governments have been notified of this extension.
