The Department of Personnel & Training has approved the appointment of Ms. Akanksha Sharma, IRSS(2007), as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) for the National Handlooms Development Corporation Ltd. (NHDC) and Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. (CCIC). The appointment is under the Ministry of Textiles. She will serve for an initial period of three years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders. The Ministry of Railways has been requested to relieve the officer to take up this new assignment.
