The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Ms. Yatri Dave Vitekar, IRPS (2001) as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Mumbai. The appointment is for an initial period of three years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The officer is placed under the Department of Economic Affairs. The Ministry of Railways has been requested to relieve the officer to take up the new assignment.
