The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Niraj Kumar, IRAS (2000), as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). The appointment is under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways at pay level 14. The tenure is for a combined period of 7 years, effective from the date of assumption of charge until 5.4.2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
