The Department of Personnel & Training has approved the entrustment of the additional charge of the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at V.O. Chidambaranar Port Trust (VoCPT), Thoothukudi, to Shri S. Murali Krishnan. Shri Krishnan, who is the CVO of Chennai Port Trust, will hold this additional charge for a period of six months or until a regular CVO is appointed, whichever is earlier. This order was issued following a proposal from the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
