The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the entrustment of the additional charge of the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at the Jute Corporation of India (JCI), Kolkata, to Shri Suresh Madhavan. Shri Madhavan is currently serving as the CVO of the Metal Scrap Trading Corporation Ltd (MSTC), Kolkata. This additional charge is effective until his deputation tenure at MSTC ends on April 3, 2022, or until a regular CVO is appointed for JCI, whichever occurs earlier. The order was issued by the Department of Personnel & Training.
