The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Samir Rastogi, an Indian Forest Service officer of the 1988 batch (Himachal Pradesh cadre), as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCFL), Mumbai. The appointment is for an initial period of three years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The officer will be in the pay matrix level 14 (Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200). The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has been requested to relieve the officer to take up his new assignment.
