The Department of Personnel and Training (DoP&T) has approved the appointment of Shri Giriraj Garg, ITS(97), as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in Delhi. The appointment is made under the Department of School Education and Literacy. The officer is appointed at pay level 13 of the pay matrix. The tenure is for an initial period of three years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The Department of Telecommunications has been requested to relieve the officer immediately to take up this new assignment.
