The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Suresh Meghnani, IRSS(91), as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). The appointment is under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs for an initial period of three years. The officer is to assume charge of the post until further orders, whichever is earlier. The Ministry of Railways has been requested to relieve the officer immediately to take up this new assignment.
