The Department of Personnel & Training has approved the appointment of Shri Sushanta Kumar Pattnaik, IFoS(UD:02), as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC). The appointment is for an initial period of three years, with a possible extension of two additional years. The officer will draw pay in the Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/- or Rs. 8700/- (pre-revised) as applicable. The Ministry of Railways has been requested to relieve the officer immediately to assume the charge.
