Inviting Proposals for Grants to Administrative Training Institutes and State Information Commissions for RTI Act Implementation

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoP&T) has invited proposals from Administrative Training Institutes (ATIs) and State Information Commissions (SICs) for grants under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme for improving transparency and accountability through the RTI Act. Organizations must submit their proposals in the prescribed proforma by May 31, 2017, for the 2017-18 financial year. The release of funds is contingent upon the submission of Utilization Certificates for previous grants. Additionally, organizations are required to provide information for registration under the Central Plan Scheme Monitoring System (CPSMS). The guidelines established in 2016 remain applicable for the current financial year.
