This circular grants a paid holiday to Central Government employees on the day of the bye-election in the Anantnag constituency of Jammu & Kashmir. Employees who are bona fide voters in the constituency are eligible for special casual leave on the polling day. Additionally, employees assigned to election duty are permitted to be absent from their normal duties for the polling day and necessary travel time.
