The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Satish Tandon, an Indian Telecom Service officer (1983 batch), as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of IRCON International Limited. The appointment is on a deputation basis for an initial tenure of three years. He has the option to draw his cadre pay plus deputation allowance or the pay of the post. The tenure is extendable for a further period of two years in the same CPSE or three years upon shifting to another CPSE, subject to prior approval.
