The Department of Personnel and Training has issued an office memorandum to amend the list of restricted holidays for the year 2014. It notes that the birthday of Shri Guru Gobind Singh falls twice in 2014, on January 7th and December 28th. The date of December 28th, 2014, was inadvertently omitted from the original list of restricted holidays. Consequently, the annexure to the previous office memorandum dated June 11, 2013, is amended to include this date.
