The Central Government has appointed Shri Rakesh Kashyap, currently CGM at Canara Bank, as the Deputy Managing Director of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). This appointment is effective from the date he assumes charge of the post. He will serve in this capacity until his superannuation on January 31, 2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
