The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of the additional charge of the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at Bharat Pumps and Compressors Ltd. (BPCL), Allahabad. This charge is held by Shri Alok Ranjan, IPS, who is currently the CVO at Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL), Delhi. The extension is granted beyond 20.09.2019 up to 02.03.2020. The tenure will last until the expiry of his initial 3-year term or until a regular CVO is appointed, whichever is earlier.
