The Competent Authority has approved the appointment of Shri Ashish Tripathi, IRS (IT:2007) as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Delhi. The appointment is under the Department of Consumer Affairs. The officer is appointed for an initial period of 3 years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
