Extension of Timelines for Recording PARs for AIS Officers for 2025-26

The Department of Personnel & Training (DoP&T) has issued a circular extending the timelines for recording Performance Appraisal Reports (PARs) for AIS (IAS/IPS/IFS) officers for the year 2025-26. This extension is granted as a one-time measure to provide sufficient time to Reporting, Reviewing, and Accepting Authorities. The self-appraisal deadline is now 31st July 2026, with subsequent appraisal stages extended to 15th September and 15th November 2026 respectively. No remarks can be recorded in the PAR after 31st December 2026. This relaxation is in accordance with the AIS (PAR) Rules, 2007.
