MSEDCL has launched the Amnesty Scheme 2026-27 for permanently disconnected HT/LT consumers (excluding Agriculture and Public Water Works) to settle outstanding arrears.
• Scheme Period: 06.11.2026 to 15.01.2027.
• Benefits: 100% waiver of Delayed Payment Charges and interest arrears.
• Early-bird incentives offered for lump-sum payments by 15.12.2026.
• Reconnection requires Smart Meter installation and payment of principal arrears.

To facilitate recovery of long-pending electricity arrears and enable reconnection for permanently disconnected consumers.
Most Important Details
The scheme offers 100% waiver of DPC and interest arrears. Eligible consumers must pay principal arrears. Reconnection is mandatory with Smart Meter installation. Early-bird rebates of 10-20% on principal are available for payments made by 15.12.2026.
