The Reserve Bank of India has issued a directive to all banks holding Currency Chests (CCs) regarding operations on March 31, 2025.
• Banks dealing with Government receipts and payments must remain open on this date, which is a public holiday, to ensure all government transactions are accounted for in the current financial year.
• Banks are advised to keep their Currency Chests fully operational on this day.
