The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI):
• Shri A.Y.V. Krishna, IPS (AM:1995), appointed as Special Director until his superannuation on 31.05.2030.
• Shri Venugopal N., IPS (HP:1995), appointed as Special Director until his superannuation on 31.12.2027. Both posts are upgraded to Level 16 as a measure personal to the officers.
