The Department of Personnel and Training has issued a notification regarding the change in the date of the Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) holiday for 2026. The holiday for Central Government administrative offices in Delhi/New Delhi has been shifted from May 27, 2026, to May 28, 2026, based on the sighting of the moon. For offices located outside Delhi/New Delhi, the date may be decided by the respective Central Government Employees Coordination Committees or Heads of Offices based on the decision of the concerned State Government.
