The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Dharmendra Prakash, IFS(NL:89), as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC), New Delhi. The appointment is at the level of Director under the Ministry of Railways for a period up to 15.06.2016 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The officer is entitled to draw pay in the pay scale of Director to the Government of India plus deputation allowance, or the pay of the post. The Ministry of Coal has been requested to relieve the officer immediately to assume his new assignment. The appointment is effective from the date he assumes charge of the post.
