The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the entrustment of the additional charge of the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd. (MTNL), Delhi, to Shri Surender Mehra, IFoS(UD:99). Shri Mehra currently serves as the CVO of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL), Delhi. This additional charge is effective for a period up to 04.02.2024 or until the appointment of a regular CVO, whichever is earlier.
